ST. THOMAS — Registration is open for the Therapy Works Lover’s Lane Run, scheduled for 6 a.m. Saturday, beginning and ending at Barbel Plaza.

The 2.5-mile run-walk is being conducted by the St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners, and co-sponsored by Therapy Works and the St. Thomas East End Medical Center.

Elrod Hendricks West LL Pee Wee division signups

ST. THOMAS — Signups are now underway for boys and girls interested in playing in the Elrod Hendricks West Little League’s Pee Wee divisions.

Players must be between ages 6 to 8 years old to play in the Pee Wee division, and the child must be 8 years old on or after Sept. 1 to qualify.

The Pee Wee division season will begin March 8.

Sign-ups under way for St. Croix Int’l Regatta

ST. CROIX — Registration is under way for the 25th-annual St. Croix International Regatta, scheduled for March 9-11 in the waters off Teague Bay on the northeast end of the island.

Entries are being accepted in the Optimist and 29ers classes for junior sailors, and in the CSA Racing Spinnaker, CSA Non-Spinnaker, Multi-Hull and Rhodes 19 classes for adults.

The entry fee is $100 for Optimist and 29ers classes, and $150 for all other classes. The registration deadline is 6 p.m. March 9.

Registration under way for St. Thomas Int’l Regatta

ST. THOMAS — The deadline is approaching for the 2018 St. Thomas International Regatta, scheduled for March 22-25 in the waters around St. Thomas and St. John.

The deadline for the 49th-annual regatta is March 20, with entry fees of $300 for entries in the CSA-Multihull, CSA-Bareboat and One Design classes.

The entry fees for the Beach Cats and IC-24 classes are $200.

The St. Thomas International Regatta will begin March 22 with the “Round the Rocks Race.” Division races will begin March 23, and run daily through March 25.

In addition, crewmembers must sign a waiver of liability and media release, which can also be done online.

BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival next month

TORTOLA — Registration is underway for the 47th-annual British Virgin Islands Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival, scheduled for March 27 through April 1.

The Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is open to all Caribbean Sailing Association-sanctioned classes, with the classes competing in three divisions: CSA Spinnakers, including Racer and Cruiser classes; CSA Performance Cruisers, Jib and Main, Bareboat and Multihull classes; and One-Design classes such as IC-24s.

The week begins with the Sailing Festival, which will hold two races on March 27 — the Round Tortola Race, and the Full Moon Race — and the Island Invitational set for March 28.

The BVI Spring Regatta begins March 30, with a scheduled five races each day in each of the divisions.

The entry fee is $100 for Monohull and Multihull classes and $50 for IC-24s for the Spring Festival races, except for the Full Moon Race, which has a $500 entry fee for both classes.

The entry fee for the BVI Spring Regatta is $350 for Monohulls and Multihulls, and $200 for IC-24s.

All races will be held in the Sir Francis Drake Channel, which separates Tortola from the southern islands.

Registration opens for International Opti Regatta

ST. THOMAS — Registration is now under way for the 26th-annual International Optimist Regatta, scheduled for June 11-17 out of the St. Thomas Yacht Club.

Registration can be done online at The entry fee is $250 per boat before May 15, and $275 after.

The number of entries will be limited to 125 skippers.

The week’s activities begin with the TOTE Maritime Clinic, held June 11-13, and the TOTE Team Race, on June 14.

The International Opti Regatta will run from June 15-17.

Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each class, and the top three overall as well as the top-finishing female skipper.
