Agency opens nominations for ag awards

The state Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry is accepting nominations for four Oklahoma Excellence in Agriculture Awards to be announced at a ceremony April 10 at the state Capitol as part of the annual Oklahoma Ag Day celebration.

The event was to be hosted by the Department of Emergency Management and Rose State College. It originally was set for September 2017 and was rescheduled for June due to ongoing hurricane response.
